FHO Mentorship Programs

FHOxBuddy Mentor Program

The FHOxBuddy Mentor Program is designed to connect housing professionals across our region in a purposeful mentoring relationship during the Annual Fall Meeting. Mentors will have the opportunity to share their knowledge, insight, and lived experiences, while mentees gain support, guidance, and networking opportunities to enhance their professional development. To serve as a mentor, participants must have at least three years of professional experience in housing/student affairs, regardless of level. Mentees of all levels are welcome, from graduate students to senior housing officers seeking peer guidance. This initiative fosters collaboration, growth, and community among our FHO members.

FHOxSpeed Mentoring Session

This fast-paced, engaging event pairs mentors and mentees for a series of brief but impactful conversations. Mentees will connect with multiple mentors to explore professional development topics such as leadership, supervision, fiscal management, and career planning, while mentors have the opportunity to share their expertise and support the next generation of housing professionals. Whether you’re seeking guidance or offering it, this session is designed to spark connections and inspire growth.
